1. 2. 3. Open to Malaysian citizens aged 18 yrs and above (parent/ guardian’s consent is required for participants below 18 yrs). Ideas can be submitted on a group or individual basis. There is no limit to the number of submissions per person       1. Submissions of ideas must be original and it must not have a development agreement with a broadcaster or production house in place. 2. Your ideas/ concepts may be entered under one (1) of these categories: a. Drama/ Telemovie b. News & Documentary c. Game Show d. Musical e. Magazine f. Reality g. Children h. Talk Show i. It’s complicated—you tell me!   3. Ideas/ concepts submitted must not exceed 1000 words, as stipulated in the official ‘Big Entry Form’ 4. If submitting more than one idea, please use separate entry forms for each idea. 5. Entries can be written in English and/or Bahasa Malaysia (as long as it makes sense) 6. Only applicants using the official ‘Big Entry Form’ obtained from the website www.bigidea.com will be considered. Entry forms can be downloaded from the website if you choose to submit entries via email or post mail. 7. All shortlisted finalists must be prepared to give a verbal pitch of their ideas in person to the ‘Big People’, consisting of professional and experts in the television industry from Primeworks and MPB. 8. Submissions will be judged according to the following criteria: a. Originality: Is your idea new, fresh and inventive? b. Unique: What sets your idea apart from the rest? c. Entertainment value: Will it be able to keep us stuck to the TV for hours on end? 9. Entrants must be prepared to sign the attached agreement & release form with MPB 10. Ideas Submission Period starts on 08 August 2008. 11. The closing date for submissions is 14 September 2008.
